Assist

The characteristics of water used in the spray tank can have a profound influence on the effectiveness of crop protection products. Hard water and high pH can be detrimental to the performance of crop protection products by preventing uptake into leaves. Assist is a water conditioner for use with selective and non-selective herbicides to improve spray water quality by softening and buffering spray water to pH6-6.5, in order to optimise herbicide uptake and performance.

Recommended for:

High pH            Hard water           Scum

Backrow Max

The adjuvant Backrow is designed to optimise the placement of residual herbicides ( pre-/peri-emergence) reducing drift and increasing herbicide retention, leading to more effective weed control.

Pre-/peri-emergence spray timing the target is the soil. The aim is to maximise coverage with the herbicide spray and retain it in the top 5cm of the soil to control flushes of germinating weeds that may emerge over time.

Backrow helps retain residual herbicides for up to 8 weeks, increasing the longevity of weed control.

Recommended for:

Anti-drift            Retention (Leaching)

Kantor

The adjuvant Kantor is specifically designed to optimise every step of the spray delivery process, from buffering, compatibility and placement, to penetration into the leaf, leading to higher efficacy, yields and profitability. The addition of Kantor to fungicide, herbicide and / or PGR applications will optimise the delivery of active ingredient(s) to their site of action, improving both efficacy and yield.

Recommended for:

Drift    run-off      Hard to penetrate               Complex tank mixtures   pH    Poor Coverage

Union

Pod shatter arises from the swelling of ripe pods in wet weather, and contracting in dry weather. In the run up to a late harvest, brittle over-mature crops are particularly at risk of pod shatter, as plants become older and drier with age. Union/Iskay is a pod sticker designed to prevent pod shatter for 4 - 5 weeks by coating the crop with a thin film of polymer, best described as a micro-mesh. This holds brittle pods together to prevent shattering, with sufficient elasticity to allow for the final stages of pod fill to maximise yield.
